When Allan Culoblanco, Chris McPartlin and Robert McGloan got together to create We Love Fundays about three years ago, they set out to play the house & techno music that they loved and were inspired from listening to. Having been influenced early on by Glasgow DJ’s Kevin McFarlane & Stephen Lee from Tunnel Room 2, and listening to international DJ’s like Pete Tong, Frankie Knuckles, Tall Paul, Seb Fontaine through to modern day superstar DJ’s like Maceo Plex, Jamie Jones, Bicep, Ame, Steve Lawler to name a few, they have a unique love of different sounds and styles that fall well within the house/techno bracket. We Love Fundays is a Sunday night run from Minibar and is probably best know for its Bank holiday all dayers where Fundays brings in some of Glasgow’s best local DJing talent according to the boys. We Love Fundays has also expanded into a club night in Saint Judes under the alias of Don’t Talk Dance, aimed at bringing a good house club night back to Glasgow on a Sunday night.
The We Love Fundays show is all about bringing the newest and best house music to the listeners with the occasional classic thrown in for good measure. Whether it be deep, soulful, vocal, tech house, if it catches the boys attention then you will be sure to hear it within the few sublime hours that We Love Fundays promises to deliver.
