For over two decades Mash or Martyn Henderson from Glasgow has been djing, producing records, writing, and broadcasting in the dance scene.
Mash has released records for years on labels like Southern Fried, Glasgow Underground, Dirt Crew, Toolroom, Optimo, Love and Other, Peppermint Jam and Bulletdodge.
He released a single ‘Please Be True’ with Idris Elba on vocals. His releases have been played by Groove Armada, Francois K, Gorgon City, Laurent Garnier, Duke Dumont, Sasha, Illyus and Barrientos, Hot Since 82, Seth Troxler and more. Mash has shared the decks with Green Velvet, Patrick Topping, Groove Armada, Sonny Fodera, Eats Everything, Pete Tong, MK, Purple Disco Machine, Sinden, Fat Boy Slim, 2 Many DJs, Tiga…….
He has played at festivals like TRNSMT, Playground, Summer Sessions, Rock Ness, T In The Park, Homelands, Love Box, The Riverside Festival and more. As a journalist Mash has written for Mixmag, Music Week, Vice, Clash, Sunday Mail etc.
Mash has broadcast on radio stations like Beat 106, XFM, Galaxy, Capital, and Clyde interviewing and featuring mixes by artists like Moby, Disclosure, Depeche Mode, Goldie, Groove Armada, Fat Boy Slim, Hot Chip, Mark Ronson etc.
Mash also did a mix on the 6 Mix on BBC 6 Music.
